About

This is just my blog site, where I share news and thoughts, not always related to photography.

I am a professional photographer working out of Gateshead Tyne and Wear, UK.

Most of my work does not get put onto any of my websites as they are specific to a client’s request. The work that you do see is either what I do for the love of photography or interesting and quirky news items.

My main activity is Press and Editorial photography, specialising in Emergency Services,  however in these ever challenging times one has to diversify to survive so I am open to most commissions, just get in touch.

Services include:

  • Press, Editorial and PR (Specialising in Emergency Services)
  • Commercial Portfolios and Product Catalogues
  • Special corporate events
  • Weddings and celebration events.

    Hi Alan, hope you’re well.

I was shown this website by the organizer of GIFT Festival and was very surprised and chuffed to see myself on the photos! I’m the clown who was trying to lay a table cloth!
I was wondering if there was any way I could use them for my College file? I’m currently doing a piece of work on my performance at GIFT and these photos would be brilliant evidence of it. I won’t post them anywhere else of Facebook I promise!
I’ll be mentioning what you said and be referencing this website in my bibliography so it would be such a help if I could use the photos with their titles ‘There’s always someone interesting in the crowd’.
Anyway if you could get back to me that would be great.

Good work on your brilliant skills and Thanks for finding my table laying skills interesting!

    Regards,

    Meghan

      Hi Meghan,

      Glad you like the pictures.

Out of all the people there your face stood out. When you and your friend started to do the table cloth the concentration on your face meant I just had to capture the moment.

I will email you with the pictures as soon as I get 2 minutes later today.

      Thanks

      Alan
